ILEKTRA – NIKI PRIFTI
Embryologist
Elektra – Niki Prifti is a graduate of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA) , holding a degree in Biology. She also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in “Reproductive – Regenerative Medicine” from medical school of the same university. In this specific program, she had performed her diploma thesis entitled “The role of Ser680Asn polymorphism of FSH receptor and AMH values in serum and follicular fluid on the day of egg retrieval in women participating in an IVF protocol” which is part of a publication in International Journal of Reproductive Medicine.
Her involvement in Embryology was a life goal and she has many years of experience both in the andrology and embryology laboratory, in IVF Units in Athens and Thessaloniki and she has attended and participated as a speaker in several conferences.
She belongs to the potential of our Unit since May 2018.
She is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) as well as PEKE (Panhellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists).
