{"id":5378,"date":"2024-07-11T12:45:26","date_gmt":"2024-07-11T12:45:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ivfathenscenter.gr\/?p=5378"},"modified":"2024-09-24T05:57:58","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T05:57:58","slug":"we-use-idascore-an-artificial-intelligence-ai-software-algorithm-in-conjunction-with-embryoscope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ivfathenscenter.gr\/en\/our-blog\/we-use-idascore-an-artificial-intelligence-ai-software-algorithm-in-conjunction-with-embryoscope\/","title":{"rendered":"We use iDAScore, an artificial intelligence (AI) software algorithm, in conjunction with Embryoscope +"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>iDAScore is a significant improvement on any other system used so far in human embryology after being tested and based on multi-center studies (115.000 embryos from 18 different clinics around the world) and provides fully automated selection processes and evaluations for each embryo of patients&#8217; cohort eliminating the subjective assessments with completely objective analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further studies since then, have shown that the highest grade embryos in the automated selection process give the highest probability of successful implantation and positive fetal heart beat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, a new version of iDAScore has been installed in IVF Athens Center (iDA Score version 2.0) based on the same artificial intelligence technology, derived from more data (&gt;181.000 embryos), more IVF units and after well-proven results (birth rates). It provides a fully automated selection process and evaluation for every fertilized oocyte (embryo) and at more stages of development (day 2, 3 or 5\/6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advantages of the installed iDA Score version 2.0, are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The availability of a score at any time from day 2 (at least 39 h post fertilization), day 3 ( 72 h p.f.) or until days 5\/6 (108 -148 h p.f.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The results are comparable between days, which means that a day 2 embryo with a high score has the same implantation probability regardless the day of embryo transfer and embryos with similar scores have the same implantation probability regardless the day of evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the potential benefits for patients?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The benefit is the selection of the embryo with the highest implantation so that women undergoing IVF can conceive more quickly with the lower cost &#8211; effective treatment and the less stress\/anxiety on them and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Researchers have proven that a high iDA Score is associated with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increasing rate of interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>low rate of 1st and 2nd trimester abortions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increasing percentage of euploid fetuses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rapid rates of cell divisions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a better morphological picture of the fetuses (isomegaxth fetuses, absence of fetuses cell cultures)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>absence of division facts (e.g. inability to divide into 3 and 5 kftaras) which they live negatively and reduce the risk of cancer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>iDAScore is a significant improvement on any other system used so far in human embryology after being tested and based on multi-center studies (115.000 embryos from 18 different clinics around the world) and provides fully automated selection processes and evaluations for each embryo of patients&#8217; cohort eliminating the subjective assessments with completely objective analysis.
