FERTILITY PRESERVATION<\/h1>\r\n

Fertility preservation can be either applied to men or women.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cryopreservation of the gametes i.e. sperm samples, unfertilized oocytes, fertilized oocytes (embryos) at different stages of development,\u00a0 ovarian tissue fragments,\u00a0 is a revolutionary method in the field of Assisted Reproduction and aims to the preservation of the reproductive ability and the possibility of future use for various reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n\n

IVF Athens Center is proud of its achievement in 2008, when the first child in Greece following the vitrification\/warming procedure was born and since then we have performed thousands of embryo transfers in cryo-preservation-warming cycles.<\/span><\/p>\n

        All cryopreserved genetic material are cryostored at IVF Athens Cryopreservation Bank in special manufactured vessels (tanks) under liquid nitrogen,LN<\/span>2.\u00a0 <\/span>The tanks are equipped with 24\/7 alarm system which is installed to check and confirm proper cryo conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

        When you are ready to pursue pregnancy, our embryologists will warm the material and follow procedures\u00a0 according your medical records.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

        \r\n Why do I\/we have to sign all these forms? <\/h4>\r\n

        Consent forms are obligatory to be filled during all steps of assisted reproduction in accordance with Greek legislation.
